The story behind Öbraze emotion
The beginning
One day, while rummaging through an old box of photos, I found a Valentine's Day card my mother had given me a few months before she and my father tragically died in an explosion. In the card, she had written: "We love you, my little darling," and signed it: "Mom and Dad." I was just a teenager at the time. Rereading that card almost 20 years later really moved me.
For several years, I was afraid of losing that card, afraid of forgetting where I'd put it. Over the years, and after a few sleepless nights, I thought about reproducing that little note on a piece of jewelry, but I wanted to make it myself. And after several creative experiments, I finally fell in love with the final version: wood and aluminum.
Along the way, I learned to vectorize, enhance, and create the wooden pieces. A few years later, I wanted to give this gem a different feel. And one day, the few videos of my parents, which I was afraid of losing or accidentally deleting, came back to me, and the Hidden Treasure idea was born.
Because the videos of my parents, where I hear my mother laughing, saying my name, or my father rocking peacefully in HIS armchair, are nothing but pure treasures in my eyes, and from this fear of losing the few traces I had of them was born Öbraze emotion.
Now I have a pendant and a bracelet with my mother's handwriting, which tells me "We love you." Her laughter, even her favorite song that I used to hate, I listen to it differently now. And when I need that little boost of courage, when I'm scared or when I miss them, I don't have to look any further. I just hold my jewelry near my phone and I hear her laughter... my father, I see him smile. Sometimes that's all I need.
There is also another reason behind Öbraze's emotion
My son. One of the first "I love you"s he wrote to me. I kept that little note very carefully in my wallet.
Unfortunately, one night while I was sleeping, someone forced my window and stole my wallet. I was devastated, not for the cards, not for the little money that was taken from me, but for my son's words, his first writings with all the love in his little heart, the words of my little man who, at the ripe old age of three, thought I was pretty.
Through some unknown divine intervention, a few months later, someone contacted me at work. This man, who was working on building a section of highway between my workplace and my home, found my wallet in the freshly blasted field. I met him in a parking lot, and he gave it back to me.
My credit cards were gone, and the money on them too, but I immediately opened the section where I'd left the note... IT WAS STILL THERE! Well, you can imagine I made a piece of jewelry out of it. YES! A piece of jewelry and a keychain!
